About AANSA

The Animal Aid Network strives to provide all animal organisations in South Africa (and throughout Africa eventually) with a voice on the Internet. It also aims to build up information resources applicable to the South African context. This information is intended for use by activists worldwide.

The term "aid" is used to encompass both animal rights and welfare, since AANSA believes that both approaches are necessary for the eventual success of the movement.
